Directions

From Korissia Port in Kea take the road to Koundouros (20 klm, approx 30 mins). Once in Koundouros, look for the main beach of the area with the Blue Flax, also for the signs leading to Porto Koundouros Beach Multiplex.

By plane:

From the Athens International Airport there are intercity bus departures to Lavrio via Markopoulo. From Lavrio Port there are daily ferry trips from Lavrio Port to Kea Island and the island is also connected by boat to the islands of Syros and Kithnos. 

By ferry/boat

Kea Island (Tzia) is an 1 hour boat trip from the Port of Lavrio, which can be easily approached directly from Piraeus Port and the Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" and other areas in Athens and Attica, by car and public transport. There are daily ferry trips from Lavrio Port to Kea Island and the island is also connected by boat to the islands of Syros and Kithnos.

By train

You can travel by suburban railway to Koropi, which is about a 1 hour trip, and then you change to an intercity bus that will reach Lavrio via Markopoulo in about 40 min.

By car

From downtown Athens via the “Attiki Odos” Motorway or via Posidonos Avenue leading to the Athina – Sounio Avenue. If you get a taxi to Lavrio Port, fare is approximately 45 euros, departing from the Athens Airport.
